Again, impressive considering how many extra possessions we have given the other team
But our transition defense has been stellar
We were kind of worried about athleticism going into this year...Im really not at all anymore. This team can run and get up around the rim.
Defensive rebounding hasn't been as big an issue as it feels. Currently 59th at 29.67 a game.
Considering how athletic we have looked and we dont even have Aimaq on the floor, I feel this is another area we can fix over time.
Last year we killed it on offensive rebounds, and that is one thing we haven't done great at all this season thus far. Only around 7 a game.
- Daniel Batcho now has 7 blocks on the season. Around 2.3 a game. He had 17 all of last year.
- Only 2 players do not have at least 1 steal on the year: Jennings and CJ Williams. Harmon leads with 6 and is currently matchin McCullar's out put at KU.
- Currently 20th as a team in Defense Efficiency
It's only 3 games and the opponent talent level is about to jump up a few notches lol
But, I highlight this because that is pretty salty for such a young team. Last season we were much, much older and didn't look this good on the defensive end this early.
