We welcome back the baseball team after they were able to take game one of Big 12 play over Oklahoma 6-1 in yesterday's contest. Today, Cameron Smith looks to repeat his dominating performance he had last week over SDSU, where he went 7 innings allowing 0 runs on 3 hits, walking 3 but striking out 6. Smith brings a 3.29 ERA into today's contest, while OU is hitting opposing pitchers at a rate of .276.

Yesterday's game saw a pitcher's duel through the first 6 innings, where Tech was able to take a lead 1-0 off Ryan Long's RBI double in the 4th. The score would remain that way until the 6th, where Tech would add 2 more in the inning. Oklahoma was able to get on the board in their half of the 6th inning, scoring off an error by Proudfoot, his 5th of the season. Tech added another run in the 7th and two more in the 8th. The story of yesterday's game was 2-out hitting. Long's RBI, Proudfoot's 2 RBI single, and Raley's 2 RBI single; 5 of the 6 Tech runs came with 2 outs.

Remember, the game is televised on FSSW and FCS - Pacific
