Just read THIS ARTICLE and depending the extent of the injury to Lowrie's thumb last night the Astros have the option of bringing up Correa over the coming weeks.
I think it's a tough decision to either bring him up, or wait one more year and play a stop gap with a mix of Marwin Gonzales and Jonathan Villar.
Again, all of this is circumstantial to the diagnosis and length of time that Lowrie will have to miss. (which sucks because he's been a really welcomed surprise this season in the lineup)
Time will tell if we see Correa in 2015 or 2016 in the Astros lineup.
