Today's Aspen newspaper has this curious fact in the obituary for Henry Clay Patton. He was born in Arkansas and twice headed up the Plains Cotton Coop Association in Lubbock, when he became a big Red Raider fan. So much so, they will have the game on tomorrow during the first funeral service.
The last line says, "A celebration of Henry’s life will be at Woody Creek Tavern in Aspen during the Arkansas/Texas Tech football game September 19th."
