Initially looking into the feasibility of this.

In theory, buying a 2-3 bedroom place in a place like Pagosa Springs (or another CO ski resort town). Purpose would be to have a place I could work remotely from for a month or two in summers, and possibly go up for a week of skiing. I would be splitting it with my brother/father, same general purposes. Would have good views, large deck, modern kitchen, strong internet, basically everything I'd look for in an AirBNB if I was renting.

So, in theory, renting it out for ~9ish months.

Money isn't really an issue in buying/fixing up/furnishing.

We would have to use some company to clean/manage supplies and reporting back to us how guests were.

Does anyone have anything like this? Costs in hiring a company like that? Experience in doing so in a place that is summer/winter destination? Regrets in doing so?
