NBCNews sat on information that blew apart the claims of multiple gang rapes alleged by Julie Swetnick and her scumbag attorney, Michael Avenatti. NBCNews interviewed the "corroborating" witness Avenatti claimed would prove Swetnick's claims were true on September 30, a week before Kavanaugh's confirmation and during the FBI's 7th investigation of Kavanaugh. The "corroborating" witness denied any knowledge of Swetnick's claims and, in fact, accused Avenatti of fabricating her statements.
NBCNews has sat on this knowledge and is only now publishing the story on October 25, 2018 almost a month after learning of the denials.
Just another example of NBCNews sitting on exculpatory information for political gain. Remember them editing George Zimmerman's 911 call. Or how they staged fiery test crashes of GM trucks.
Maybe if NBCNews had printed these denials when they learned of them it might not have dragged our nation through that debacle. But, no. That's wasn't aligned with NBCNews' political desires.
