Per source, Pittsburgh transfer center Federiko Federiko will be visiting Texas Tech beginning on Saturday.
Listed at 6-foot-11, 220 pounds, Federiko is originally from Finland. So could be a good connection with fellow Finn Eemeli Yalaho should he end up in Lubbock.
This past season Federiko averaged 4.7 points and 5.2 rebounds per game in just over 21 minutes a night. He started 26 games at Pitt this past season and 53 games over the past two years.
Federiko would give Tech some length in the front court which was sorely needed - especially after Warren Washington went down.

My thoughts: Federiko would be an excellent get as a Robert Jennings replacement. Not much offense but definitely more length and age, a proven guy off the bench who can also start if you need him to. IMO even if you land him, Tech would still need another starter type in the front court.
