I have tried to ask if the staff thought Allen was going to go pro a few times on the site but never really got much of a response.
I knew Allen was good but he may be starting to play his way into early round consideration.
He is having a great year but apparently is ranked 3rd out of 346 NCCA LB with a 91 grade by PFF. He is obviously draft eligible and assuming he plays the whole season, he is going to put up some good numbers. His ability to identify plays, shed blocks, tackle well, AND pick off the ball has been impressive. He has pretty good size as well.
There is a lot back on defense next year but just like last year's team, you really notice Allen's absence. Good thing Gibbs thinks Jeffers is the real deal.
