AC replacement - Dallas

Our AC finally stopped working yesterday. It's over 20 years old so it's time to replace it.

Any recommendations for companies? I have one quote for a 16 SEER, 3 ton (I think) but it seems high ($10k) from what I've gathered. Not looking purely at the initial cost, I want it done right.
