Cadeau is ranked as the #6 overall prospect and #1 PG in the nation in the Rivals class of 2024 rankings. Cadeau has expressed his interest and love for Texas Techs defense in the past and even says Texas Tech is his "dream school."
Tonight I caught up with him after he was at the game last night vs. Tennessee at Madison Square Garden.
"The game was good and I am glad I got to go. Both teams struggled to shoot but Texas Techs defense is very tough."
I asked him about his recruitment with Texas Tech and how that has been going recently: "I have been on the phone a few times this month with Coach Peery and I continue to be very interested in Texas Tech."
"Tennessee and Syracuse have also been recruiting me pretty well." (Has been offered by Tennessee but not Syracuse)
The last time I caught up with Cadeau he had said he does plan to visit Lubbock in the future and is "excited to see the amazing facilities."
