Yet they were in every game.
This bye week came at the perfect time really. Needed to rest, needed to get healthy. You had the week off while West Virginia was in a slug fest with Baylor. I feel like we are gonna see a revitalized and refocused team Saturday in red and black.
3-3 after that gauntlet is impressive and now they have plenty to play for going forward. I am really liking that 8-4 possibility to cap off McGuire’s first year at the helm. This is a solid team.
Questions sure. Can we generate turnovers, can the O-Line grow more? How much does the QB decision effect both of those things? Can the defense keep popping people in the mouth? Etc.
But with the way this team fights under Joey… I really like our chances of going 5-1 the rest of the way. There’s a belief right now. Something we haven’t had in a long time.
