Fresh off an offer from Texas Tech, I caught up with 4-star SG Marquavious Brown from Newton Highschool in Covington, Georgia.
Assistant coach Corey Williams offered Brown tonight and it was an amazing moment for him. "Me and Coach Williams were just having a conversation and he popped out of nowhere telling me that he wanted to offer me a scholarship and man, I smiled from ear to ear."
"We talked about different things along with the team practices and about the school. I am definitely liking it."
Brown will be in Houston, Texas for a game on Saturday, November 13. "The coaches are coming to watch me that day", Brown said.
'Tonight on the phone we talked about setting up a time for me to come visit Texas Tech."
I asked Brown if he knew 2022 Tech target, RJ Godfrey, at all and he says, "Yes, I played a couple of games with him in the AAU season. He is built like an action figure and can score very well."
"The main schools recruiting me right now are Texas Tech, Clemson, Xavier, Missouri, and Georgia."
