In Napoleon Hill's book "think and grow rich" is the true story of a man who raised thousands of dollars to go west to mine for gold. He found a nice vein that allowed him to make some money for awhile...then the mine played out. He so l the mine for a few hundred dollars. The man who took over the mine found a new vein that made him a millionaire and that new vein was just 3 feet from where the previous owner stopped drilling. Those advocating changing horses right now may very well be stopping 3 feet short.
