First post ever on the board but felt this was worth sharing.
I have attended two of Tyler Legacy's games so far this year and not enough attention is being paid to Donnell and Tech will reap the benefits of it. Donnell is not considered the premier RB in East Texas, nor even on his team for that matter because of Jamarion Miller (Texas commit). Miller rushed for 81 yards against Allen last night which gave him over 4,000 for his career. However, it was Donnell who was and has been the shining star so far this season for Tyler Legacy. Last night alone, Donnell had 126 yards and 3 TD's on the ground and 62 yards and 1 TD receiving. On the year (4 games), that brings his total to 47 carries for 293 rushing yards/7 TD's and 16 catches for 253 yards/3 TD's.
Miller is a very good RB and Sark was even in town last night for the matchup. But Donnell has consistently been the more versatile back this season and if he was on any other team in East Texas, I don't know if Tech would have a chance to land his talent. I recognize that teams are more than likely keying on Miller which opens the door for Donnell, but what I love to see is the fact that he runs angry and loves contact. It is very impressive that he is producing these type of numbers while splitting carries with Miller and I pray that he can fly low enough under the radar that he lands in the LBK.
