Sitting here in Norman waiting for 2:30 start of track meet. Found this interesting article by AP reporter Ralph Russo, in the newspaper this morning. He lists 27 new head coaches in order of expected chance of success.

The Red Raiders brought in Wells to coach the whole team, not just the offense, after 6 seasons of Kliff Kingsbury struggling to do just that. If success is defined as better than Kingsbury, that seems like an attainable goal for Wells. If Red Raider fans expect to replicate Mike Leach’s success in Lubbock, they’re probably setting themselves up to be disappointed.
Same newspaper has not a single mention of the Big 12 Track Championship taking place here in Norman. Not even a list of results from yesterday.
