Monsanto had a monster weekend in Atlanta prior to the two recruiting periods when coaches could be out, but didn’t play quite as well, which is why his recruitment hasn’t caught up to where we have him ranked just yet.
We believe that could change come July. Coaches are always on the lookout for shooters with some size, and that’s what Monsanto is.
Right now, he seems to be pretty high on Buffalo and Texas Tech. He also mentioned being pretty close with the South Florida staff as well as new Georgia assistant Chad Dollar, so those programs could be in play as well.
