Like to think I had some influence here... My cousin is the kid's head coach at Joliet Catholic Academy. Kid chose Tech over offers from Arizona State, Clemson, and Missouri.
Couldn't get any of his rankings, but I know he's very well regarded on the club team circuit. About the program, Joliet Catholic is a well-known powerhouse in baseball and football. My cousin has 3 state championships and multiple state appearances. They regularly send kids to the draft, as well as notable D1 programs like Arizona State, Notre Dame, and Louisville to name a few... this current roster has one of the top High School pitchers in the country as well in Drake Fellows, who committed to Vanderbilt as a Sophomore (kid is a high draft, no doubt)...
Anyways, it's nice to grab the attention of these kids from up north. Would love to pull some football talent, too, as they produce a lot of D1 talent, most recently 5 star Ty Isaac at Michigan (USC transfer). Mike Alstott from the Buccaneers went here, former '85 Bears member Tom Thayer, and most notable, Rudy Ruttiger of "Rudy" fame. Cool Story!
