2 (maybe 3) thoughts from the KState game

Finished rewatching the game and had a couple of thoughts that I haven't seen mentioned.

Number 1, Lauderdale's effort. Yes, he hasn't played great this year since his injury. Yes, has had some bad drops. But I don't think Dre's long run would have been a TD without Lauderdale's effort, running down field and trying to keep the defenders off Washington. Love that we have a receiver that will run 80 yards with his RB and try to keep him clean. I see this as a recurring theme with Lauderdale, big effort guy and willing to hit.

Number 2, and I can't remember when it was in the game. But Reginald Davis made a catch coming across the middle and I swear it was Crabtree. The pass was perfect and he caught it the same way Crabtree did with a little hop on the catch and then off to the races. He didn't score of course but did show some good speed after the catch. He hasn't been great but man, I think he could be.

3, in parentheses in the title, my wife got 2 degrees at KState and we yelled at each other most of the day Saturday. She then left for a work trip Sunday morning so I'm on ice for at least the rest of the week.
Needless to say, very worth it.
