Tech had been pasted by Baylor in the Jones, 45-14, and A&M on the road, 45-8, in the two games leading up to playing a very good Hog team on the road. And, Tech had been humiliated 61-11 at Miami earlier that season back when 60 points was a very rare occurrence by anyone. I felt as low at that point in 1986 as I feel now. But we went into the Ozarks and won 17-7 in a massive upset that I listened to on the radio.
