For someone who has seen Baylor 10 times in person. They have 4 some times 5 (Mayer) legitimate scoring options so they will score points and you just have to limit their runs. We have to get the ball out of Akino’s hand as he is a true scoring point guard and can finish going left or right. They play elite defense as well so we have to win the game in the 50’s. It will be ugly but the only defense that they have gone up against that is as good as ours is their own in practice so it will be a game of who can solve the others defense.
They will kill a zone so man to man is the way to beat them so staying out of foul trouble is huge. Do not leave Flagler or LJ Cryer uncovered or they will do what Macio Teague did against us last year. It’s going to be a fun one and I wish we were at full strength but our depth and mindset has us in every game we play this year regardless who is out there.
