Had a chance to catch up with Texas Tech Softball head coach Gerry Glasco earlier this week to talk all things recruiting, fall ball and 2025 season. Great stuff as always from Glasco as he is transparent about all phases of this team and what fans should expect. He is very excited about soe of the players that flashed this fall including some potential star freshman and of course Nija Canady at both the plate and in circle. Also talk in detail about each of the four players in this years recruiting class and get into the schedule as well that is LOADED with 10 power conference opponents including in state foes Texas and Texas A&M. Even a bit of tea on a certain pitching matchup early in year trying to make its way to network tv.
Definitely get your season tickets if you live in Lubbock. To put it lightly you will feel really silly in a few years when Nija Canady is winning gold medals if you lived in LBK and didn't see her play in person. And as you will learn in this interview there are some very very promising young talent from the #2 recruiting class in country surrounding her, not to mention the veterans that joined her in the number one portal class in country as well.
