We had a chance to catch up with the super sophomore and rising star in the soccer world, Texas Tech's Sam Courtwright before the season starts next week at #4 Penn State (have an exhibition Aug 8 in Denver first!) Won Big 12 Freshman of the Year, First-Team All-Big Team and the programs first ever freshman to be named a NCAA All-American in the teams record breaking 2023 season. She has also been taking part in every USA National U-20 team camp and game since January and is likely to take part in the U-20 World Cup with Team USA in Columbia starting Sep 1. Who knows you may just see her in the Olympics and World Cup one day representing Team USA's senior national team squad as well. In summary: she's a rising star who brings a TON of flair and excitement to the game (peep the juggling rainbow flick to get the ball away from two surrounding attacking players at the start of the interview). Give it a watch, trust if you don't already know her you want to know this name as she is on track to be a Red Raider and soccer great alike.
