Hyatt Award Night for sale

I have a Hyatt Award night that expires Oct 23rd that I don't think I'll be able to use, so I'm selling it for $125.
This is good for any Hyatt that is Category 1-4, which can sell for up to $300.

I also have status, so this room will come with a free upgrade if there is a suite available, free breakfast, free valet parking (if they have it), and no resort fee (if it's a resort).
These perks are not relevant if you're staying at a Hyatt Place since they don't have suites and already give you free breakfast.

If you are interested, find the hotel and date you want and reach out to me. I'll reserve the room for you and then you can Venmo me the money.
If you want more than 1 night, I can also make that reservation for you so you will still get all the perks mentioned above.

OT: My first venture using AI on Zoom

I used the AI feature on Zoom to summarize meeting notes. Wow. Now I fully understand how AI is a game changer. The notes we're broken down in paragraph form, starting with an executive summary and next steps. It then itemized each subject in paragraph form, with no more than 2-3 sentences in each paragraph. What's amazing is this isn't basic stuff. We were discussing investments, estate planning, and taxes (I'm a wealth manager for a family office). It's like having someone take notes and summarize my meeting for me, however they have a masters in English, a JD, and CFP.

The applications will be enormous. Everything from how a Doctor runs a patient appointment to how you read and enjoy RRS.

Family's Salsa Now Available in United Supermarkets

Only been a few weeks but wanted to let y'all know my parents' salsa company "Wrights of Texas" just expanded into West Texas with the generous help of the good people at United Supermarkets.

It comes in 2 flavors (red and green) and 3 levels of spice (mild, medium, hot). Made fresh weekly in Katy, TX by parents of 2 proud Red Raiders.

Pick some up in the refrigerated produce section. It's great with tortilla chips for tailgating, game watching parties or just a late night snack.

Medium green is our most popular but I grew up on medium red and used to put it on bacon, egg and cheese breakfast tacos. I still do.

Lubbock Sherriff's Office SWAT Robot in action yesterday

Found this comment on Reddit:

Oh my gosh! I helped film this for my tv station! The guy was shot at the time, that’s why he’s stumbling about. He tried to cover the bomb squad’s robot with a sheet because it was trying to throw tear gas inside. Then he came out of the room because the gas was deployed. While he was down I heard on one of the officers radios that he was going to run him over. Everyone started laughing, it really lifted the seriousness of the situation.

SIAP: Ten Years Ago Today (September 18, 2014)

From ESPN:

Texas Tech fired defensive coordinator Matt Wallerstedt on Thursday after the coach was suspected of being at the school's football building while under the influence of a controlled substance, sources told ESPN.com.

Wallerstedt was sent home from the facility Monday, according to a source.

The Red Raiders surrendered 438 rushing yards in a 49-28 loss to Arkansas last weekend, but the team's on-field performance was not related to Wallerstedt's dismissal, sources said.

CoachingSearch.com first reported the firing Thursday.

Wallerstedt joined the Texas Tech staff last season, coming over from Texas A&M along with head coach Kliff Kingsbury.

Wallerstedt is expected to be replaced by co-defensive coordinator and linebackers coach Mike Smith, who played for the Red Raiders and graduated from Texas Tech in 2004.

Smith will be Texas Tech's seventh defensive coordinator since 2007.

The Red Raiders are off this weekend, before traveling to play Oklahoma State next Thursday night.
