I saw it on the interwebs

One extended forecast I saw has the high in Ames on Saturday at 23 with snow during the day. Kickoff will be about 16 degrees with winds WNW at 17 mph. The eventual low overnight will get down to 3 degrees.

I'm trying to think of any other Tech games that might be colder and nothing pops into my head. There was the K-State game in Manhattan in 2018 that spelled the end for Kliff. But looking it up, that showed a high that day of 32 even though the wind chill was pretty cold. That was an afternoon game.

A game in Lubbock with Houston in the early 90s, maybe 1992, had some snow. My freshman year in 1976 at SMU, snow fell that night so much that the game was set for 2 p.m., but moved back to 3:30 to allow for the field to be cleared. Snowball fights erupted in the student section since Tech was rolling to a win. It was cold, but it wasn't 16 degrees cold.

To have missed out on Ewers…

The guy is a total head case.

Pretty good by the quarterback, running backs, slot receivers and offensive line...not a great night for the tight ends or outside WR's.

Defensively a handful of standouts but overall average or below average.

GF and I are road tripping through Colorado during Thanksgiving week. Hitting Telluride, Ouray, and Aspen. One day in Telluride, two days in Ouray, and three days in Aspen. I've booked the hotels but other than that we're just winging it. Not staying in the fanciest of places, but I made sure they're all walking distance to the town centers. I know Telluride and Aspen have gondolas. Aspen has one of those forest coaster things. Want to check out the Maroon Bells in Aspen and Hot Springs in Ouray. Any other tips from the rich insiders on this board? Went to all of these places as a kid, but haven't been back since. Hoping a local brewery has the Creighton game.
